State-of-the-Art Arrhythmia Mapping and Ablation Techniques

Call for Papers

Catheter ablation has become standard treatment for most arrhythmias. Catheter ablation has become a class I indication for treatment of atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, symptomatic monomorphic ventricular tachycardia, and AV (nodal) reentry tachycardia. Methods of ablation advanced particularly in recent years.

Therefore, we invite investigators to contribute original research articles as well as review articles that will stimulate the continuing effort to improve outcome of catheter ablation or develop alternative ablation strategies. Especially we want to highlight catheter ablation for ventricular tachycardias. We are particularly interested in articles describing the clinical use and development of catheter ablation in daily practice. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Catheter ablation in ventricular tachyarrhythmias
  • Catheter ablation in atrial fibrillation or left sided tachyarrhythmias
  • New developments in ablation catheters
  • Catheter ablation in right sided atrial tachyarrhythmias
  • The role of imaging before during and after ablation of tachyarrhythmias
  • Quality of life following the different ablations
  • The role of ablation in heart failure

Before submission authors should carefully read the journal’s Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/bmri/guidelines/.
