Call for Papers

Current concepts on pathophysiologic mechanisms mediating renal toxicology are rapidly expanding. This special issue is focused on capturing this fast-growing field by welcoming submission from various researchers and aims to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date coverage of nephrotoxicity.

Renal toxicology is an interdisciplinary research field concerned with the study of the effects of nephrotoxins on living organisms. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Kidney disease from environmental and occupational toxins
  • Clinical and experimental renal toxicology
  • Renal clearance and toxicity of nanoparticles
  • Animal and molecular imaging models in renal toxicology
  • Stem and progenitor cells in renal toxicology
  • New biomarkers of kidney disease in blood and urine

Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/bmri/guidelines/.
