Apple Procyanidins Suppress Amyloid 𝜷-Protein Aggregation

Procyanidins restore viability of PC-12 cells treated with Aβ42. Cells were pretreated with various concentrations of AP, PC and MN for 1 hour, and then, incubated with (a) or without (b) 1 μM Aβ42 for 36 hours. Cell viability was measured by the MTT assay. Values are the means ± s.e.m., n = 3. (Compared to the control group (0 μg/mL), ***𝑃<0.001 and *𝑃<0.05 (Dunnett's test)).
