Effects of carbofuran and curcumin on the activity of catalase in the brain stem of rat. The procedures for the administration of carbofuran and pretreatment with curcumin as well as assay of catalase activity were the same as mentioned in Section 2. The unit of enzyme activity was expressed as IU mg−1 protein.
