Five-Membered Nitrogen Heterocyclic Compounds
Call for Papers
Five-membered nitrogen heterocycles with a pyrrolidine moiety or pyrrolidine derivatives are often found in many bioactive molecules. Constructing highly functionalized heterocyclic compounds would seem to be essential and significant prior to furnishing many of these biologically active natural constituents. Diverse synthetic knowledge and chemical possibilities or transformations would be inevitably explored. During such synthetic processes, novel pharmacological agents beneficial in curing human diseases as well as new scientific findings may well be generated.
We particularly take an interest in accounts of research in the field of organic chemistry and synthesis of five-membered nitrogen heterocyclic compounds (both aromatic and nonaromatic) as well as natural products with such heterocyclic systems. Papers must contain definitive and comprehensive reports of significant findings obtained via original work in heterocyclic chemistry. Papers dealing with novel synthetic methodology towards active heterocyclic materials would be of great interest (efficient route, reproducible methodology, stereospecific materials, high product yields, and enantiomeric excess). Findings from biological studies may be included. Manuscripts featuring urgent significant results will be highly considered. Reviews summarizing the work in the author's laboratory, as well as novel interpretations and presentations of relevant heterocycles, are welcome. Short papers of concise accounts of studies of a limited scope may also be submitted. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Synthesis and chemical explorations of five-membered nitrogen heterocycles
- Biological studies of five-membered nitrogen heterocycles
- Naturally occurring bioactive compounds containing five-membered nitrogen ring system
Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/chem/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/chem/organic.chemistry/hac/ according to the following timetable:
