New Materials in Nanobiotechnology

Call for Papers

The trend of using novel materials in nanotechnology and biological systems is constant, with their success largely due to the continuous design and development that meets the needs of modern nano- or biotechnology. In recent years, application of novel nanomaterials with biological properties increased in nanotechnology and biotechnology field such as electrochemical sensing, DNA interactions, organic and inorganic catalyst, fuel cell, synthesis of new nanomaterial, application of nano- and biomaterials in physics or other material field, and drug delivery.

The main focus of this special issue will be on the new material and its application in nanotechnology and biological systems. The special issue will be an international forum for researchers to summarize the most recent developments and ideas in the field, with a special emphasis given to the technical and observational results obtained within the last five years. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Synthesis of novel nanomaterials
  • Interaction of new materials with DNA
  • DNA sensors
  • Theoretical investigation of bio- and nanomaterials
  • Nanocatalyst
  • Drug delivery
  • Synthesis of novel biomaterial
  • Nanomaterial in physics
  • Organic and inorganic catalyst
  • Application of nano- or biomaterials in analysis
  • Theoretical and experimental studies related to nanobiotechnology
  • Solid state materials
  • Biomedicine
