Modeling the channel identification problem. A known multidimensional signal 𝑢(𝑡), 𝑡∈ℝ, is first passed through a communication channel. A nonlinear sampler then maps the output 𝑣 of the channel into an observable time sequence (𝑡_𝑘)_𝑘∈ℤ.
