Sequential treatment with activin and hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) promotes cell migration and invasion in vitro and liver metastases in vivo. (a–b) Transwell assays demonstrate that sequential treatment with activin and HGF increases the migration and invasion abilities of HCT116 cells.
