Overall, low degree (k) nodes were associated with a spread of clustering (c) behaviors, whereas the nodes of highest degree had clustering coefficients toward the middle of the range. Compared with vehicle (d), the active-drug networks (a–c) had a greater range in both k and c. Amphetamine and nicotine showed a differential shift in the k-c distributions between cortical and subcortical nodes, whereas for fluoxetine nodes in both brain subdivisions were shifted to higher values.
