Univariate simple effects hypothesis test results are presented for the alcoholic subject for a slice representative of the amygdala (media anterior) in the brain. Focusing on the negative stimulus input and comparisons between the three output states, that is, emotional versus passive states, cognitive versus passive states, and cognitive versus emotional states. For context, an additional hypothesis test result (also see Figure 4) is presented showing the stimulus effect.
