Effects of Neonatal Systemic Inflammation on Blood-Brain Barrier Permeability and Behaviour in Juvenile and Adult Rats

Adult animals treated with either saline or LPS during the postnatal period were tested for their ability to learn and remember and their general locomotor activity in the Morris Water Maze. No difference was observed between saline- and LPS-treated animals for any of the measured parameters. Data are mean ± SEM, 𝑛 = 8 for each group.
