If the patient is normal, the expected pattern would be 2 reds, 2 greens, and 2 aqua signals. The abnormal pattern is two fusions (red and green together), 1 red (normal 8), 1 green (normal 14), and 2 aqua (the two centromeres of chromosome 8).
