(b) The uterine lesion was composed of variable amounts of smooth muscle and fat cells with hydropic and hyaline degeneration, accompanied by numerous blood vessels. (c) On immunohistochemical staining, the nuclei of smooth muscle cells in the tumor were positive for estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) (not shown).
