In addition, there are clusters of large neoplastic cells throughout the capsule, adjacent to the luminal fibrinoid necrosis (hematoxylin and eosin, 100x). Inset image: the large neoplastic cells are pleomorphic with hyperchromatic nuclei and abundant clear to slightly eosinophilic cytoplasm.
