Complex Scapular Winging following Total Shoulder Arthroplasty in a Patient with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome

Photo taken 18 months after the index TSA shows the patient’s back while she presses her hands against the wall in front of her. Although scapular winging is still obvious, there is increased mass of the trapezius when compared to the image taken 14 months prior (Figure 1). Although periscapular muscle tone had improved, shoulder function was not significantly changed.
