A Lip Lump: An Unexpected Histological Diagnosis of a Lip Schwannoma

<div><i>High-power slide of schwannoma</i>: H + E ×400. The tumour comprises cytologically bland spindle cells with no mitotic activity or necrosis. Focal palisading of the nuclei is seen as a characteristic of a schwannoma. This has led to the production of the so-called Verocay bodies.</div>
