Radiological Followup of the Evolution of Inflammatory Process in Sacroiliac Joint with Magnetic Resonance Imaging: A Case with Pyogenic Sacroiliitis

Bone marrow edema on the right-sided sacroiliac joint is well seen (*) indicating active inflammation. An accompanying increased signal in the iliopsoas muscle (arrow) is also noticable. Note the diminishing inflammation intensity and distribution in the consecutive months.
