Tumor cells forming a “Zellballen pattern” with interspersed thin-walled vascular structures. IHC showed tumor cells are positive for synaptophysin (c), CD 56 (d), and chromogranin (e). Sustentacular cells were positive for S-100, although tumor cells were negative (f). The tumor cells were negatively stained for HMB45 (g), vimentin (h), and CK7 (i).
