Caudal Elbow Luxation in a Dog Managed by Temporary Transarticular External Skeletal Fixation

Transverse bone algorithm [B60] image of left elbow at the level of the coronoid before reduction demonstrating caudal luxation of the humeroradial and humeroulnar joint. Two well-defined smoothly marginated mineral opacities were also noted; measuring approximately 3 mm and 1 mm, respectively, on the caudal lateral aspect of the radius at the level of the medial coronoid process of the ulna. The medial coronoid appears sclerotic and irregularly defined.
