Complex Discrete Dynamics and Its Structures in Bioinspired Systems
Description
Complex systems and structures have taken the attention of many fields in science and technology. These dynamical objects are found in so diverse areas such as genomics, society, mechanical systems, physiological systems, chemical processes, and electrical systems. The understanding of these objects provides information on how they can be controlled in order to reproduce a better behavior such as synchronization. On one hand, the collective dynamics in theses dynamical systems is an interesting research problem and many problems can be found, for instance, in the imposition of a particular behavior in the whole structure. On the other hand, the study of dynamical systems with complex behavior presents many challenges, for instance, the dynamics of linear hybrid systems which can present complex behavior and even chaos.
We invite researchers to submit original research articles as well as review articles that address the state of the art in the domain of modeling, discrete dynamics, and complexity in bioinspired systems and its applications. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Discrete dynamics and control in biomedical systems
- Hybrid dynamic systems
- Modeling of complex bioinspired systems using simple nonlinear dynamical systems
- Complexity in structures and networks
- Feedback control of bioinspired systems
- Synchronization in networks of bioinspired systems
- Discrete dynamics and control of robotic systems
- Discrete dynamics and structures in society
Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/ddns/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/ according to the following timetable:
