Nuclear p27 Expression Confers a Favorable Outcome for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Patients

p27 nuclear expression was favorable for radiotherapy and chemotherapy treated NPC patients. p27 protein expression was significantly associated with the survival time for NPC patients treated by radiotherapy and chemotherapy but not for those untreated patients. (a) Patients with nuclear expression had better prognoses than those with negative nuclear expression of p27 after radiotherapy. (b) Patients with nuclear expression had better prognosis than those with negative nuclear expression of p27 after chemotherapy.
