Data are presented as absolute volumetric mean ± SD. Comparisons for hypothalamus and third ventricle were performed on intracranial vault-residualized volumes to yield the results in the table. Four subjects (1 lean female, 2 obese males, and 1 obese female) did not have MRI data.
