MicroRNA-155-5p Overexpression in Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Patients Is a Novel, Independent Molecular Biomarker of Poor Prognosis

Significant differences are observed in miR-155-5p expression between CLL patients and nonleukemic individuals, thus allowing the discrimination of CLL patients from normal population.
