AUC: area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve; CI: confidence interval; PDW1: platelet distribution width at the first day of hospital admission. aProbability value of the combination was analyzed by logistic regression. The regression coefficients of these three parameters were used to set up a logit model of death for critical HFRS patients as follows: Logit(P|y = death) = −5.322 + 3.104 × sepsis − 0.246 × PDW + 0.087 × age.
