Effect of PE on the DU145 cell viability. The DU145 cells were exposed to PE at concentrations of 0.1, 0.25, 0.5 and 1.0 mg ml−1, respectively for 24 and 48 h. The viability (%) was determined by MTT assay. The vehicle-treated cells were used as the control (100%).
