Effect of PE on expressions of IL-6 and IL-8 in DU145 cells. DU145 cells were incubated at 37°C for 48 h in the absence and the presence of PE at concentrations of 0.25, 0.5, 1.0 mg ml−1, respectively. Both IL-6 (a) and IL-8 (b) were effectively suppressed as shown.
