Diabetic animals were treated with fraction Mc-3 (15 mg/kg b.wt.) or protamine zinc insulin (10 IU/kg b.wt.) once daily for 18 days. The serum was analyzed for biochemical parameters related with liver and liver and kidney function. The data represent mean ± S.D. The control animals received corresponding volume of PBS.
