Mapuche Herbal Medicine Inhibits Blood Platelet Aggregation

Table 3

Seven plant species that showed inhibitory effect in sheep blood were subsequently tested in human blood. The agonists are ADP (5.0 μM) and collagen (2.0 μg/mL) and the obtained aggregations are shown in percent. Extracts are tested in 0.1 mg/mL end concentrations. The aggregation is shown for both extract and vehicle control. If the extract aggregation is 20% lower than that of the vehicle control inhibition is observed.
