Inhibitory effects of glycyrrhizin derivatives (compounds 1–3) on LPS-induced production of TNF-α in mouse macrophages. (a) The mouse macrophage cell line RAW264.7 was pretreated with the indicated concentrations of the glycyrrhizin derivatives for 30 min, and then treated with 100 ng/mL LPS for 24 h. (b) Peritoneal macrophages derived from mice were pretreated with the indicated concentrations of each compound for 30 min, and then with 100 ng/mL LPS for 24 h. The TNF-α concentration in the cell medium was measured by ELISA. Data are shown as the mean ± SE ().
