Anti-inflammatory activity of glycyrrhizin derivatives toward TPA-induced edema on mouse ear. Each compound (250 μg, gray bar; and 500 μg, black bar) was applied individually to one ear of a mouse, and after 30 min TPA (0.5 μg) was applied to both ears. Edema was evaluated after 7 h. The inhibitory effect is expressed as a percentage of edema. Data are shown as the means ± SE ().
