Ginsenoside Rb1 Prevents MPP<sup>+</sup>-Induced Apoptosis in PC12 Cells by Stimulating Estrogen Receptors with Consequent Activation of ERK1/2, Akt and Inhibition of SAPK/JNK, p38 MAPK

<table>Estrogen receptor involvement in p38 MAPK, SAPK/JNK, ERK1/2, or Akt phosphorylation induced by ginsenoside Rb1 in MPP<sup>+</sup>-treated PC12 cells. Cells were transfected with 10 nM ER-alpha or -beta siRNA using HiperFect transfection reagent in 1 mL transfection medium for two hours. Then 3 mL of culture medium was added to each dish for another 22 hours.</table>
