Effect of 17 plant extracts on the activity of G6Pase. Results shown represent the change in G6Pase activity observed after overnight treatment of H4IIE cells with optimal nontoxic concentrations of indicated plant extracts. They are expressed relative to DMSO (0.1%) vehicle controls (0% inhibition). Assays were carried out in triplicate on three different cell cultures. Insulin (100 nM) was used as a positive control. significantly different from DMSO vehicle control.
