The soluble and insoluble protein fractions were collected from the brainstem (a) or spinal cord (b) of saline- () or BV-treated mice (). Equal amounts of total protein were subjected to a denaturing PAGE as previously described under Section 2, followed by Western blotting analysis with an anti-α-synuclein antibody.
