Effect of oral administration of anethole on acetic acid-induced writhing in mice. 0.6% acetic acid was intraperitoneally injected to mice 60 min after administration of the anethole (62.5, 125, 250, and 500 mg/kg, p.o.) and indomethacin (10 mg/kg, p.o.). Data are represented as mean ± S.E.M. , compared with the control group (one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey test).
