Ameliorating Adriamycin-Induced Chronic Kidney Disease in Rats by Orally Administrated Cardiotoxin from Naja naja atra Venom

The effects of cardiotoxin on proteinuria. The rats were injected with ADR through tail vein to induce chronic kidney disease. Treatment groups were intragastrically administrated cardiotoxin at dose of 45, 90, 180  g/kg. The urine was collected for 24 hours to detect proteinuria per week. The data showing mean ± standard deviation. , , and compared with “saline + saline” group. # , ## , and ### compared with “adriamycin + saline” group.
