Effects of HEXs-L on RAW 264.7 macrophages. (a) NO production. (b) Cytotoxicity. Cells (5 × 105/mL) were treated or not with HEXs-L for 24 h and NO was then indirectly estimated in culture supernatant by nitrite determination (Griess reaction) and cell cytotoxicity was evaluated by MTT assay. The results express mean ± S.D. of three experiments with triplicates. and , related to control, by one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s posttest.
