Evaluation of the Effects of Some Brazilian Medicinal Plants on the Production of TNF-<b><i>α</i></b> and CCL2 by THP-1 Cells

<div>Effects of the fractions from Brazilian plants on CCL2 release in LPS-activated THP-1 cells, assayed at different concentrations (62.5, 125, and 250 <i>μ</i>g/mL): (a)<i> Terminalia glabrescens</i> and (b)<i> Lippia sidoides</i>. Data represent the mean inhibition (% ± SD) from three separate experiments. Differences in CCL2 release elicited by the fractions were analyzed by one-way ANOVA followed by multiple comparisons of Newman-Keuls.
