Preliminary Screening of Antioxidant and Antibacterial Activities and Establishment of an Efficient Callus Induction in<i> Curculigo latifolia</i> Dryand (Lemba)

<div>CL: callus from leaf, CT: callus from tuber, TI: tuber from intact plant (<i>in vivo</i>), and LI: leaf from intact plant (<i>in vivo</i>). Superoxide dismutase (SOD) was applied according to the kit protocol to examine SOD activities in plant extracts (leaves from<i> in vivo</i> plants compared to callus from leaf and tuber, resp.) of<i> C. latifolia</i> Dryand (10 g L<sup>−1</sup>). Ascorbic acid and BHT (butylated hydroxyl toluene 1 mg L<sup>−1</sup>) were applied as the positive controls. All the values are average of triplicates.
