Δ³,2-Hydroxybakuchiol Attenuates Depression in Multiple Rodent Models Possibly by Inhibition of Monoamine Transporters in Brain

Δ³,2-Hydroxybakuchiol did not increase spontaneous movement in OFT. Balb/c mice were intraperitoneally injected with vehicle, 10 mg/kg Δ³,2-hydroxybakuchiol, 40 mg/kg Δ³,2-hydroxybakuchiol, 2.5 mg/kg bupropion, or 15 mg/kg cocaine, respectively (n = 10). Then mice were subjected to the OFT for 45-min. The line breaks between 15-30 min and 30-45min were recorded. The data are expressed as mean ±  SEM. Compared with vehicle, P < 0.005.
