Chloride Activated Halophilic <i>α</i>-Amylase from <i>Marinobacter</i> sp. EMB8: Production Optimization and Nanoimmobilization for Efficient Starch Hydrolysis

<div>Effect of carbon sources on growth and amylase production. Medium (g/L: peptone, 5.0; yeast extract, 5.0; NaCl, 50.0; pH 7.0) was supplemented with different carbon sources (1.0%, w/v). Control was without any carbon source. Medium was inoculated with 1% mother culture and incubation was carried out at 35°C for 72 h at 200 rpm shaking.</div>
