Enzyme Research

About this Journal

Aims and scope

Enzyme Research is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles that advance our understanding of enzymes and the way in which they work, both in vivo and in vitro.

Enzyme Research aims to publish articles that advance our understanding of enzyme action. This embraces studies of enzyme structure-function relationships, protein engineering, enzyme kinetics and mechanism, enzyme regulation, enzyme interactions in vivo, protein engineering, etc.

Articles that report the practical application of a well-understood enzyme will not be accepted unless the application is made possible by an unusual enzyme property newly reported and well documented in the manuscript.
