Kaplan-Meier survival analysis of 10 patients with PMCA from appendix cancer treated with neoadjuvant systemic chemotherapy prior to cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC who had a complete or near-complete histological response (median survival not reached) compared to 24 patients who had no significant histological response (median survival 29.5 months). The difference is statistically significant .
