(a) VEGF-C expression is indicated as brown precipitates in the cytoplasm in gastric cancer. (b) CNTN-1 expression is observed as a dark brown colour in the cytoplasm. (c) VEGFR-3 expression is observed as a dark brown colour in the cytoplasm. (d) Tumour cells were identified inside D2-40-positive lymphatic vessels in some cases.
