ASH: alcoholic steatohepatitis; NASH: nonalcoholic steatohepatitis; BMI: body mass index; AST: aspartate aminotransferase; ALT: alanine aminotransferase; GGT: γ-glutamyl transpeptidase; LDL: low-density lipoprotein; HDL: high-density lipoprotein; HT: hypertension; DM: diabetes mellitus; DL: dyslipidemia. ASH versus NASH. Chi-square test for categorical variables, Mann–Whitney U test for continuous variables. The Friedewald equation was used. Data excluded 7 subjects with ASH and 12 with NASH whose serum triglyceride levels were ≥400 mg/dL.
