Advanced Studies in Clinical and Experimental Research in Gastroenterology
Description
Current research in gastroenterology, both clinical and experimental, has made great and rapid progress in new methods, in biomedical technology, and last but not least in practical application of basic scientific achievements. This special issue gives a great opportunity for fast publications of advanced methods and studies in gastrointestinal imaging, laboratory science, and experimental medicine. Papers with the results of basic science will be welcome as well.
We invite authors to contribute original research and review articles focusing on new advanced studies in clinical and experimental research in gastroenterology that are able to influence our daily practice and further clinical and experimental research.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Advanced imaging in gastrointestinal endoscopy
- Human and experimental microbiome
- Experimental endoscopy and other advanced animal studies
- Experimental functional diagnostics and clinical laboratory research
- Clinical and experimental pharmacology and toxicology
- Basic science
