The cold ischemia time was significantly longer in those undergoing hepatic vein reconstruction (mean = 68.75 (35–130) versus 51.25 (20–90)), 𝑃=0.04688 as was the warm ischaemia time (mean 57.875 (30–80) versus 43.33 (25–75)), 𝑃=0.00145. Finally, the HV anastomosis time in minutes had a mean = 34.6875 (15–65) for Group A and 17.70833 (15–30) for Group B with a 𝑃 value of 𝑃=0.0001.
