Comparative Neuroprotective Effects of Dietary Curcumin and Solid Lipid Curcumin Particles in Cultured Mouse Neuroblastoma Cells after Exposure to Aβ42

Figure 2

Cell viability after exposure to different concentrations of Aβ0 and Aβ42 at different time points and the protective effects of Cur. N2a cells were treated with different concentrations of Aβ40 and Aβ42 (μM) at different time points, respectively. Data are expressed as mean ± SD. (a) No significant neurotoxicity was observed in the case of Aβ40 treated cells. (b) Cell viability tended to decrease with decreasing concentrations and increasing time with Aβ42 incubation. ; compared to control. (c) All concentrations of Cur prevented neuronal death following exposure to 10 μM of Aβ42 for 24 h ( relative to Aβ42 alone).
