Aims and Scope
The overall aim of the International Journal of Antennas and Propagation (IJAP) is to explore emerging concepts and applications in antennas and propagation. The journal focuses on the physical link from antenna to antenna including antenna hardware and associated electronics, the nature and impact of propagation channels, and measurement / prediction / simulation methods for evaluating or designing antennas or the channel. The journal is directed at both practicing engineers and academic researchers and will highlight new ideas and challenges in antennas and propagation for both application development and basic research. The journal seeks to bridge the gap between novel concepts and practical implementation. Papers are categorized as Research Articles, Application Articles, and Review Articles. Research Articles should emphasize new, original ideas relating to the theory of antennas and propagation. Application Articles should emphasize new, original results related to the application of ideas in antennas and propagation and should provide significant design guidance for practical implementation. Review Articles should provide a survey and overview of an emerging area in antennas and propagation. The International Journal of Antennas and Propagation employs a paperless electronic submission and peer review process.

- Adaptations of well-known antennas that yield novel results

- Applications of antennas in communication, medicine, radar, imaging, radio astronomy, sensing, applied optics, millimeter- and sub-millimeter-wave techniques, EMC, etc.
- Matching networks and electronics commonly associated with antennas
- Design and simulation techniques for antennas and propagation
- Safety and public policy related to antennas and propagation
- Propagation channels including wireless, mobile, satellite, and telecommunications channels (MIMO, multipath, biological, atmospheric, terrestrial, discrete and continuous media, etc.)
