Effects of Auraptene on IGF-1 Stimulated Cell Cycle Progression in the Human Breast Cancer Cell Line, MCF-7

Cell cycle analysis of MCF-7 cells in the presence of IGF-1 at 8 h. MCF-7 cells were serum starved for 24 h. At 22 h after serum starvation the cells were treated with 10 μM auraptene in 0.01% DMSO. At 24 h serum starvation, the cells were treated with IGF-1 (10 ng/mL). After 8 h of IGF-1 treatment, the cells were harvested and processed for cell cycle analysis by flow cytometry.
