Quantitative PLK1 mRNA analysis in the tumor tissue. The graph represents relative gene expression of PLK1 in tumor tissues, after intraperitoneal administration of various treatment formulations; (i) CS-PEG-CP15 with siRNA against PLK1 gene, (ii) CS-PEG-CP15 with non-targeting biotin-siRNA, (iii) PLK1 siRNA alone, and (iv) control: saline. The PLK1 gene expression was compared among different groups after normalizing the GAPDH levels among all the animals. A % PLK1 gene suppression was observed in treated animals () as compared with untreated control.
